What is BeMob?
BeMob is a cloud tracker for affiliates and media buyers. The vendor runs the UI and the redirect; you do not need a VPS for the tracker itself. The site is bemob.com. Plans (subscription, event or volume caps — whatever the vendor states on the day you look) live only on their site.
BeMob covers the standard class loop: campaign URL → click row → click ID on the offer → network postback → report. Voluum and RedTrack share the same hosting model. Comparison with a self-hosted license is on BeMob and ATracker, not in every paragraph here.
What the buyer configures in the cloud
Campaigns, landings (remote URLs or uploaded pages — as the product allows), offers with macros, sources with ads-account tokens. Filters and rotation rules decide where the hit goes: offer A, offer B, safe page. If the offer URL has no click ID, the network postback will not match — that is a tracker rule, not a BeMob quirk.
Cost arrives manually, as a CPC/CPM rule, or via an ads-account integration if the plan includes it. Without cost the report shows CR and EPC, not ROI. Outbound conversions into ads (pixel / CAPI) are a separate account-optimization loop.
Cloud: start and ceiling
Signup and the first campaign URL take hours, not a day of Linux install. The vendor patches the software and scales hit intake. The ceiling is the contract: extra events or seats usually mean an upgrade, not buying disks. A self-hosted neighbour moves that growth onto a server and an instance license.
BeMob stores click logs and personal data. Retention, export, and account deletion follow their policy. Teams that need data residency on their own hardware will reject the cloud model regardless of brand.
In practice a cloud tracker is chosen when nobody owns Linux and the first campaign URL is needed the same day. Later the limit is the event pack or a cabinet that will not dump raw clicks. Then the choice is a SaaS upgrade or moving structure to self-hosted. That move is separate work: BeMob does not have to export a full dump in Keitaro’s format, or the reverse.
Reconciling with the ads account is the same as the class: different attribution windows, Meta view-through vs network last-click, produce different counts. BeMob counts its own loop. A mismatch is a reason to check click ID and cost, not “the tracker is broken.”
Term boundaries
- Not the “tracker” class. One class, many products.
- Not self-hosted Keitaro/Binom. Keitaro and Binom run on your server (Binom’s vendor also sells hosted).
- Not an MMP and not GA4.
- Not comparison copy. No “leave BeMob” pitch.
BeMob does not issue offers and does not replace an affiliate network. It accounts for someone else’s traffic in someone else’s cloud.
