What is Voluum?

Voluum is a cloud tracker for arbitrage and media buying. The vendor runs the UI, the redirect, and click storage; you do not need a server for the tracker. The site is voluum.com. Typical SaaS billing is a subscription plus event tiers (clicks, visits, conversions — whatever the current price list counts). This page does not list amounts or plan names; they change. Source: official Voluum pricing.

Mechanically Voluum is the same class as Keitaro on a VPS: click, click ID, landing/offer, postback, report. The difference is who hosts and how the invoice grows at millions of hits. Cloud vs a self-hosted license for this brand: Voluum and ATracker.

The loop in the cabinet

A Voluum campaign URL goes in the ad. The service writes the hit, redirects, and passes the click ID into the offer. The network returns the conversion to the postback URL. Reports cut by campaign, offer, landing, source, GEO, tokens. Automations (metric rules, rotation) sit on top of accounting; a menu item does not override last-click payout in the partner network.

Ads-account integrations pull spend and sometimes send conversions back (including server-side). That is ROI reconciliation and an optimization signal, not a replacement for the inbound network postback. If cost did not land on the same day and campaign as payout, the report diverges from the ads account — ordinary debugging, not “Voluum is broken.”

Event billing without numbers

A cloud tracker sells intake and storage of events. At low volume a subscription is often cheaper than a sysadmin and a VPS. When clicks grow, the “events” line grows even if the funnels stay the same. A self-hosted neighbour then hits disk and CPU, not a per-hit price list. Which is cheaper is a calculation on your numbers, not a year-old screenshot of someone else’s landing.

Data lives in Voluum’s cloud. Retention, export, team access, and personal-data processing follow their contract and help center. A team that needs “logs only on our disk” picks the self-hosted class, not “a different cloud brand.”

Siblings

RedTrack and BeMob are also vendor-hosted trackers. They differ in UI, automations, price grids, and connectors. Do not confuse Voluum with an MMP (AppsFlyer and peers) or with GA4: it is not app attribution and not a site-session tag.

What Voluum is not

  • Not the definition of “tracker.” Tracker is the category.
  • Not a self-hosted license like Keitaro or Binom.
  • Not an affiliate network and not a Meta/Google ads account.
  • Not a comparison page. No “leave Voluum” conclusion and no copied price figures.
