What is Ad Disapproval?
Ad disapproval is the ad platform’s decision not to serve an ad due to policy or technical issues. Account status: “Rejected”, “Not approved” with a reason (sometimes vague: “Misleading content”, “Circumvention systems”).
Disapproval is not always an account ban — one ad can be fixed or removed. Repeated disapprovals for the same issue escalate to account ban and restricted ad features.
Common causes
- Landing does not match creative.
- Prohibited product in GEO.
- Poor destination (404, slow load, malware flag).
- Suspected cloaking or policy violation.
Actions
